For those who have never been to the Brecon Beacons or are simply looking for a great excuse to return, Cradoc Golf Club has teamed up with local hotel Peterstone Court, one of the finest country hotels in the area.
From the outside Peterstone could be considered – imposing, but then fits into its impressive mountain backdrop with ease, however on the inside is where things really start to happen. Avant-garde and distinctive in its style, Peterstone remains loyal to its Georgian heritage, but compliments the old with funky details and modern touches.
With twelve bedrooms, the eight rooms inside the main house are large, light spaces, you could – quite simply – get lost in them and the stables have been converted into four contemporary loft rooms, possibly bigger than most London flats!
Food is of huge importance to Peterstone Court, up-to-date but not avoiding tradition. Most of the meat and poultry on the menus comes from their own family farm just seven miles down the road.
One of the great benefits of a retreat at Peterstone Court is the lovely spa and leisure suite - converted from the underground cellars. The spa and leisure suite is run, owned and managed by the hotel - No phonecall bookings to third parties !
